2 Corinthians 5:6-10

Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as
we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord.
We live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say,
and would prefer to be away from the body and at home
with the Lord. So we make it our goal to please him,
whether we are at home in the body or away from it.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of
Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for
the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

2 Corinthians 5:6-10

The Expectation of Eternal Life with Christ

A little girl whose father had just died asked her mother where he had
gone. "To be with Jesus," replied her mother.

A few days later, talking to a friend, the mother said, "I am so
grieved to have lost my husband."

The little girl heard her and, remembering the earlier conversation,
asked, "Mother, is a thing lost when you know where it is?"

"No, of course not," said her mother.

"Well then, how can Daddy be lost when he has gone to be with Jesus?"

The little girl had hit the nail on the head. To say that at death a
Christian "goes to be with Jesus" is not a euphemism but a reality.

1 Samuel 12:22

For the LORD will not abandon
His people on account of His
great name, because the LORD has
been pleased to make you a people
for Himself.

  • Getting Better Sleep

Contributed by: (Nanci Baren nancibaren@ yahoo.com)

    Basics

The basics in sleep always have to do with the so called sleep hygiene. There are a few rules relevant to this stage. You may have heard some or all of them before, but you have to make sure you've covered the basics before moving on to the next stages.

Learn to abide your internal clock

Our body has an internal rhythm that is called a circadian rhythm. Human beings are creatures of habit, and our internal rhythm reflects that. Go to sleep and wake up at the same time each day (yes, even on weekends), and your body will "learn" this routine, which will make it easier for you to fall asleep and stay asleep.

    Avoid napping during the day

Napping will cause your internal clock to get "confused". If you must nap, limit the nap to no more than 45 minutes, and don't take it after 4 pm.

Avoid foods that will tamper with your sleep

This includes drinking alcohol, caffeinated drinks (coffee, tea), or fatty or spicy foods in the evening, before going to bed.

Keep your room as comfortable as possible for sleep

This includes a comfortable mattress, a temperature that's not too high or too low, and a noisy-free environment.

Use your bed only for sleep (and sex)

When we use the bed for other things, our mind connects the bed with things other than sleep. When we finally get to bed for sleeping, it doesn't have the right connection in our minds necessary to convince our brains that it's time for sleep.

These things all require little of you, and are mostly minor things you can start doing to improve your sleep.

    Minor Tweaks

These are things that require more on your part, but have been proven to improve sleep.

    Exercise

Apart from other known benefits of exercise, it can help you sleep better. Our body's temperature changes during the day. We are most active when it's the highest (typically in the late morning and early evening) and we are more sleepy as it declines at night. Exercise causes your body temperature to rise, and a few hours later to drop as a compensation for that earlier rise. The drop in temperature makes it easier to fall asleep and stay asleep.

Since the drop in temperature occurs a few hours after exercise, it's best to exercise within 3-6 hours of bedtime.

    Take a bath

A hot bath will also cause your body's temperature to rise and fall afterward. You should take it about 2 hours before bedtime (since the temperature drops here faster) and stay in the hot water for about 25 minutes.

    Expose yourself to the sun

Before there was electricity, people were exposed to sunlight during the day. Our body recognizes that light as a cue for "day", and when it's gone it "understands" night time is coming. Inside our body, this "understanding" is done by producing a hormone called melatonin, which promotes sleep.

Nowadays, people spend most of the day in offices or at home, where there is artificial light. Our body doesn't recognize it as sunlight and the secretion of melatonin is changed, which makes it harder for us to get to sleep. To let your body know that it's daytime, open the drapes or get out for a walk in the morning. Also expose your eyes to the sun before it sets.

    Under The Hood

The second step required you to be active about promoting a better sleep. This step is meant for anyone who's still having trouble after trying the above methods.

    Artificial light

Some of us, for many reasons (no time, no ability), just can't get exposed to sunlight during the day. For these people artificial bright light boxes were invented. They contain special bulbs that produce a light strong enough to convince our mind to think it's daytime. You can find many on the Internet. Look for lights that produce 5,000-10,000 lux (that's the unit the light in these boxes is measured by).

    Manage stress

Our daily lives can be hectic. Working full time, managing a house, a family, personal issues. All can take a toll on our sleep at the end of the day. Stress worsens sleep. Learning to relax can be one of the best methods to promote better sleep. There are many methods to achieve relaxation.

    Look for medical causes

Sometimes, even though we try many methods, we just can't fix sleep. Some of these cases are caused by a medical problem. There are many medical conditions that can harm sleep, like asthma, allergies, lung problems, heart problems, digestive problems and more. It can also be a manifestation of depression or anxiety. If nothing else works, it might be a good idea to ask a doctor for advice.

    Towards a Meaningful Family Life

     Contributed by: P Rajagopalan kamalapunch @ gmail.com)

In today's competitive world, I wonder how much time we spend for our family, those whom we say are the most important people in our lives. Guess this article will make us give a bit more time to our family, if we are not doing so now.

    HARSH WORDS

I ran into a stranger as he passed by "Oh, excuse me please" was my reply.  He said, "Please excuse me too; I wasn't watching for you."

We were very polite, this stranger and I, We went on our way and we said good-bye.  But at home a different story is told, how we treat our loved ones, young and old.  Later that day, cooking the evening meal, my son stood beside me very still.  When I turned, I nearly knocked him down.  "Move out of the way, "I said with a frown.  He walked away, his little heart broken.

    I didn't realize how harshly I'd spoken.

While I lay awake in bed, God's still small voice came to me and said, "While dealing with a stranger, common courtesy you use, but the children you love, you seem to abuse.  Go look on the kitchen floor, you'll find some flowers there by the door.  Those are the flowers he brought for you.  He picked them himself; pink yellow and blue. Earn money with Scour!

He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise, and you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes.".

By this time, I felt very small, and now my tears began to fall.  I quietly went and knelt by his bed; "Wake up, little one, wake up, "I said, "Are these the flowers you picked for me?" He smiled, "I found 'em out by the tree.  I picked 'em because they're pretty like you.  I know you'd like 'em, especially the blue."

I said, "Son, I'm very sorry for the way I acted today; I shouldn't have yelled at you that way."

He said, "Oh, Mom, that's okay. I love you anyway."

I said, "Son, I love you too, and I do like the flowers, especially the blue".

Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days.  But the family we left behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.  And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to your own family, an unwise investment indeed, don't you think?

So what is behind the story?  Do you know what the word FAMILY means?

    FAMILY = (F) ATHER (A) ND (M) OTHER, (I), (L) OVE, (Y) OU.

    Turning Annoyances into Opportunities

A couple went on their honeymoon to a cottage in a peaceful and lovely mountain setting. Unfortunately, the peaceful atmosphere was upset by an annoying woodpecker, which kept pecking away on the roof of the cottage. The young groom tried a number of times to chase the woodpecker away, but he kept coming back. The young couple decided to make the most of the situation and they named the bird, "Woody Woodpecker."

It just so happened that the young groom was a cartoonist and he decided to create a cartoon series about "Woody Woodpecker." The young man pitched the idea to a couple of Hollywood movie studios and met with rejection, and finally acceptance. This young man, by the name of Walter Lantz, worked hard on creating the cartoon character named after that pesky woodpecker. For over sixty years now, that loveable character has entertained millions of people who have watched the star of his own cartoon series.

How often does an annoyance in our lives turn into an opportunity for us? How often do we chase away the annoyances without stopping to really look at them? Is it possible that there are "Woody Woodpeckers" that present themselves to us, ready to be used to bring riches, enjoyments and pleasure to our self and others?

How would we identify one of those opportunities that presents itself to us? To answer that question, we can look to many of the products and services that we use and enjoy that arose out of some lack or annoyance in our lives. What about books that have been written by people who are attempting to heal some aspect of them self, and by writing about it have helped millions of others.

When faced with a recurring irritation in your life, take a moment to reflect upon how you might use this situation to your advantage. Name it, claim it, and use it to the benefit of yourself and others.

It is not what happens to us that is important. It is what we do with each situation in our life that matters.

    Affirmation:

"I will remain ever vigilant to opportunities, which come to me disguised as complications or irritations. I will make good use of it and try to bring joy to others at the same time."

    You Never Know

    Contributed by: Asian Woman (i_asianwoman @ yahoo.com)

A few years ago in downtown Denver, my friend, Scott, and I saw something tiny and insignificant that changed the world, but no one else even seemed to notice.

It was one of those beautiful Denver days.

Crystal clear, no humidity, not a cloud in the sky.

We decided to walk the ten blocks to an outdoor restaurant rather than take the shuttle bus that runs up and down the Sixteenth Street Mall.

The restaurant, in the shape of a baseball diamond, was called The Blake Street Baseball Club.

The tables were set appropriately on the grass infield.

Many Colorful pennants and flags hung limply overhead.

As we sat outside, the sun continued to beat down on us and it became increasingly hot.

There wasn't a hint of a breeze, and heat radiated up from the tabletop.

Nothing moved, except the waiters, of course.

And they didn't move very fast either.

After lunch, Scott and I started to walk back up the mall.

We both noticed a mother and her young daughter walking out of a card shop toward the street.

She was holding her daughter by the hand while reading a greeting card.

It was immediately apparent to us that she was so engrossed in the card that she did not notice a shuttle bus moving toward her at a good clip.

She and her daughter were one step away from disaster when Scott started to yell.

He hadn't even gotten a word out when a breeze blew the card out of her hand and over her shoulder.

She spun around and grabbed at the card, nearly knocking her daughter over.

By the time she picked up the card from the ground and turned back around to cross the street, the shuttle bus had whizzed by her.

She never even knew what almost happened.

To this day, two things continue to perplex me about this event: Where did that one spurt of wind come from to blow the card out of that young mother's hand?

There had not been a whisper of wind at lunch or during our long walk back up the mall.

Secondly, if Scott had been able to get his words out, the young mother might have looked up at us as they continued to walk into the bus.

It was the wind that made her turn back to the card in the one direction that saved her life and that of her daughter.

The passing bus did not create the wind.

On the contrary, the wind came from the opposite direction.

I have no doubt it was a breath from God protecting them both.

But the awesomeness of this miracle is that she never knew.

As we continued back to work, I wondered how God often acts in our lives without our being aware.

The difference between life and death can very well be a little thing.

    First and Last Love

    Contributed by: Bharathi Sarkar (bharathi.sarkar @ netafim-india.com)

I was sitting on the sand and watching the waves hitting the shore.

"It has been 4 long years now" I thought "A lot of things have happened in life ". The waves were bringing back my old memories.

I still remember how I met a girl named Deepthi in this place. I usually hit the beach on weekends to forget loneliness after my friends got scattered all over India after college. Since then I could not find a circle of friends as I had in college. I usually see her sitting alone on the sands and viewing the waves. There is a saying "Birds of same feather flock together ".I had never accepted this saying until I saw her.

Days went on ....Soon my eyes started to search for her every time I came to the beach. Slowly I felt something change within me.

The following weekend I didn't to go to the beach as all my friends had planned for a reunion .Even though I was with my friends I could sense something was not at its place. Does it have to do anything with her? I questioned myself ... my heart failed to answer my questions!! ..

Next weekend when I went to the beach my eyes didn't search for her. I was just admiring the beautiful waves... Waving its hands for me... Until I heard a voice... "Seems you didn't turn up last weekend "I just turned and noticed that, it was Deepthi saying that ... Those were the first words she spoke to me.

I never knew I was noticed by her all these days. Words failed to come out of my mouth. "By The Way I am Deepthi "were the next few words which brought me back to my senses. "Hi I am Arun! Glad to meet you! "greeted her with a smile. "Mind If I sit here "she asked me tentatively, action spoke before words did and even before I could say no my head nodded a no with a capital "N" to her. She sat there beside me and we spoke. I experienced Einstein's theory of relativity on that day. Hours flew just like seconds. She said that she was from Kerala and came to Chennai for studies. She told that she would stay with her uncle and aunt till she finished her college and that her house was near the beach...

Time went on and the more we spent time together, friendship grew more between us. We exchanged numbers. Weekend meetings start to become weekdays night phone chatting. Slowly my feeling towards her started to change, I never felt so attracted to a girl before. She was changing my life which was full of loneliness to a more enjoyable and fun filled one.

She was doing her final year of her college in a reputed arts college, so she was free in the evenings most of the time. She started to call me after her college hours and we spoke for hours and hours.

It was only in the weekends that we met each other and spoke in person; otherwise it was only over the phone.. One day after speaking to her .I received a call from my mom. She was waiting for me in front of my office and she sounded dull. I just rushed to the entrance and saw my mom in tears.

I asked her "What happened?" her weeping grew more. I again repeated my question. My mom told that My Dad had a heart attack and was admitted in hospital in Coimbatore. Working as Bank officer transfers are not new to my father. I tried to console her..And then I came to my manager and informed him about my dad and asked permission to leave from office...Went in a hurry to airport to reach Coimbatore as soon as possible. That weekend I could not attend her phone, since I was in the ICU with my father and so I had to switch off my mobile.

On Sunday my Dad got better and returning back to Chennai I checked my mobile it had some 50 odd messages from Deepthi. The moment I saw it... I knew she would be very angry on me...for not turning up this weekend. I called her a few times; there was no answer from her. I just messaged her ... what all happened ... and was waiting for her reply...

That day my eyes failed to see dreams... my heart sensed fear of losing a friend, my bed which was of roses since the day I started to speak to Deepthi, became thorns to me.

The next weekend fate had different plans for me. I made it to the sands and was sitting there for about an hour, thinking about whether she would turn up or not. After waiting for another 30 odd minutes, I decided to leave ... and started walking towards my bike.

I saw her in front of me, I went to her and said "Hi and Sorry Deepthi I could not turn up last weekend. Had some problems I guess you can understand"... her silence gave me a signal that she was still angry with me!

She just went past me and sat on the sand.... I had no other option... I followed her foot steps and sat next to her .. "O.K.! Deepthi!!! I know ...you are angry on me!!! I am sorry for not informing you, I guess you can understand in what situation I was in.

"Her answer was silence." If she doesn't like to speak to you!! Then don't disturb her!!!" my mind gave me orders. "O.K. then I guess I will leave! I don't wanna disturb you!!! "I got up with a heavy heart....

I took my first step and she broke her silence "Please don't go" she didn't sound good. I went near her and sat with her and saw the waves, I saw her tears running down the cheeks, suddenly a guilty feeling started to creep into my heart. I asked her "Deepthi!!! What happened? Why are crying?? ". "Did I say something wrong?" I questioned myself.

She wiped her tears and said "No you didn't say anything wrong ". "I could not be without talking to you!!! Arun!!! "

"You have become so close to me!!! That I feel you are a part of me!!!".The moment she finished a question arised in my mind "Is she in love with me?". I saw those eyes of her and could not come to a conclusion. "Are you in love with me? Deepthi" I put forth my question to her. She gave me a glance and said "I don't know Arun, but I have never missed any one like I have missed you in my life!!! ". Words failed to come out from both of us. We returned home questioning ourselves "Are we in love?".

The night was long and my eyes failed to dream. Suddenly saw my mobile ringing ..... It was her ..

    "Hey Hi!!! Tell me!! ?"

There was silence "hello!!! Deepthi!!! Are u there?"

"Sorry to disturb you!!! Thought you would be sleeping!"

"That's fine!! Had some work. I just went to bed! Any problem!?"

"No... not at all... just thought of speaking to you!"

    "Oh OK".

"Arun!!!!! Can I ask you a question? "

    "Go on"

"What would be your decision if I say I am in love with you?"

I was caught on the thoughts... "Does she really mean it? I know I am not that attractive but she is!!!"

    "Arun!!! You there!!! ?"

"Yeah!! Yeah!! I am here!! "

    "Did I ask anything wrong?"

    "Nope"

I came to my senses and told her my decision... That I would have her as my better half. The next moment, I only heard sounds of tears; I felt her happiness in that cry, I felt her love on that day.

The days that followed were pleasant and the most unforgettable days in my life ...everything around me looked beautiful... I was experiencing the phrase "When love is in your heart, everything around you will appear beautiful than ever". We shared happiness, sorrows, and had little fights which made the bonding between us stronger. The life clock's pendulum doesn't always be in the happier side.

Things started to change when she finished her college, her aunt and uncle found about our relationship and news automatically reached her mom.

One day she messaged me that she have received a telegram that her Mom is ill and that, she would be leaving to Kerala in some 15 minutes by flight and she will be back by a week. I called her up and spoke to her for 15 minutes.Earn money with Scour!

Those were the last 15 minutes we spoke. I never knew fate had a horrible twist in store for me.

The next day I tried to call her up and I could not reach her. Something was bothering me the whole day, I tried to call her again in the night, and still I couldn't reach her.

The next day, my mobile glowed with her number, bringing delight in my face, I picked up the phone and I can only hear her cry .....

"Hello!!! Deepthi!!! Is that you? What happened? Anything wrong? Why are you crying? How is your Mom?" I asked with my heart beating in my mouth.

She did not answer anything "Come on!! Speak to me Deepthi!! What the hell happened?"

She said" Arun!!! "And then I could hear only her cry ... Her mom got the phone from her and just said "Don't ever call her again!! She got married Arun!!!" ...and she cut the call... I felt the world around me shatter, my heart became heavy. At that moment I wished the ground beneath me to devour me. There was nothing I could do, all things were over... Tears were starting to flow from my eyes.

I walked in the sands with the memories of Deepthi; I sat and started to view the waves... for the first time in my life after meeting Deepthi everything around me looked gloomy... I felt the waves were calling me towards them... My legs started to walk towards the waves...

A heard someone calling "Arun!! Arun!! Come here!! ".My eyes started to search who was the person? " Come here!!! Don't play with the sand "It was some kid Arun's Mom. But I thought I saw a bit of my Mom in her. I took a decision. I prepared myself to face the facts of my life. I called my Mom and said what had happened. She consoled me. I said about my decision... At first she never accepted to my decision... I switched off the phone... and I walked towards my bike...

"Paapa!! See what I have made for you!!! "which brought me back to the present .....

    "Yeah!! Dear!! " ..

"A sand castle for you Pappa!!"

"Oh that's lovely dear" I said with a smile, looking at my child.

"Come here!! Deepthi!! Let us stand here..."

She came running towards me ... I lifted her .. and kissed her on the forehead... Deepthi, my adopted child. I have started to live my life for her for past 3 yrs.

I took her hand, and made the waves touch her feet. She was smiling at me.

"Come on Dear!!! Let's go home!! Grandma will be waiting for us".

I held her hand and we started to walk over the sands...

I turned back to watch my footsteps... and felt

"My first love was Deepthi, My last love will be Deepthi too "

I walked towards my bike holding my last love's hand.

All You Want to Know About Contact Lenses

When light rays enter the eye, they are absorbed and converted into electrical signals by retinal nerves. These signals are subsequently sent to the brain where they are interpreted as visual images. In a normal eye, light rays enter the eye through the cornea (window of the eye) and are focused with the help of a crystalline lens behind the pupil at a point directly on the retina (the light sensitive nervous tissue at the back of the eyeball). However, only about four in ten people have normal visual acuity. For the rest, clear vision may be achieved by refocusing light rays with the use of corrective lenses.

How does a contact lens work?

Contact lenses are delicately crafted, very thin optical discs generally worn directly on the eye. They are comfortably held in place by a natural layer of tears present between the contact lens and the cornea. Contact lenses eliminate the barriers encountered with spectacles that interfere with the line of sight above, below and to the sides of the eye. They offer outstanding peripheral vision. In addition, contacts can reduce or eliminate the image distortion sometimes caused by eyeglasses.

    What are the different types?

There are several types of contact lenses designed to fit the most common vision conditions:

    Daily-wear soft lenses

These are made of soft, flexible plastics that allow oxygen to pass through to the eyes.

    Benefits:

    ·         very short adaptation period

    ·         more comfortable and more difficult to dislodge

    ·         available in tints and bifocals too

    ·         great for active lifestyles

    ·         while careful cleaning is required, lens care maintenance products are simple and effective

    Daliy-wear disposable soft lenses

Single-use, daily wear lens that are designed to be worn for a single day, discarded at night, and replaced with a brand new pair.

    Benefits:

    ·         typically no lens care is required

    ·         assures fresh and clean lenses when replaced

    ·         great for active lifestyles

    Extended-wear soft lenses

    ·         Available for overnight wear. Made of soft, flexible plastics that allow oxygen to pass through to the eyes.

    ·         can usually be prescribed for up to seven days of wear without removal

    Extended-wear disposable soft lenses

    Subscribe to REACHOUT

    ·         Soft lenses worn continuously from one to six nights, and then discarded.

    ·         require little or no cleaning

    ·         available in tints and bifocals too

    ·         spare lenses conveniently on hand

Frequent and planned replacement soft lenses

    ·         Soft daily or extended wear lenses that are replaced on a planned schedule, most often every two weeks, monthly or quarterly.

    ·         assures fresh and clean lenses when replaced

    ·         available in most prescriptions

    ·         spare lenses conveniently on hand

    Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP)

    ·         Made of slightly flexible plastics that allow oxygen to pass through to the eyes

    ·         vision may be sharper than with soft contact lenses

    ·         easy to put on and to care for

    ·         durable with a relatively long life (1-2) years

    ·         available in tints (for handling purposes) and bifocals

    ·         daily-wear and extended-wear designs available

    ·         planned replacement schedule also available

How to insert contact lenses properly?

Wash, rinse and dry your hands before touching the contacts. A wet finger could cause a soft lens to flatten. Do not use fingernails when handling your lenses. If you are near a sink, close the drain to avoid any mishaps. Always insert your contacts in the same order to eliminate mix-ups. Pour the lens and storage fluid from the case into your palm. Examine your lens for particles, deposits or tears. Place the lens, cup side up, on your forefinger. Be sure the lens is right side out—the lens' edge will appear almost straight up. If the lens is inside out, the edges will bow out slightly. If the lens is inside out, reverse it before proceeding.

    Insertion:

    ·         Hold your upper eyelid or lashes to hinder blinking.

    ·         Pull your bottom eyelid down using your middle finger

    ·         Look up at the ceiling so that the white part of your eye shows and position the lens onto the white part

    ·         Or, you can look forward at the lens and gently situate it in the centre of your eye

    ·         Remove your finger and let the bottom eyelid go before the top

    ·         Look down to position the lens

    ·         Close your eye for a moment.

    ·         Apply one to two eye drops (lens lubricant) if your lenses feel dry or vision blurs.

    ·         Repeat the same steps for inserting the lens for the left (or second) eye.

    ·         Be sure to have your eye doctor demonstrate these steps prior to your first attempt at inserting your lenses

    Removal:

Bend over so that your head is parallel to the floor, cup your left hand under your right eye. Place your thumb, index or forefinger of your right hand at the outer corner of your eyelids. Look straight down and open both eyes wide. Pull your finger in an upward and downward direction and remove the lens.

Cleanse, rinse and disinfect your lenses after removal and before wearing them again as contact lens cases can be a source of bacterial growth. Enzyme cleaners and cleaning solutions alone cannot substitute for disinfecting, although there are multipurpose products that can perform many of these functions if used as directed. Never use non-sterile homemade saline, distilled water or tap water for any part of your lens care regimen. Use products recommended by your eye care professional. Not all solutions can be used for all contact lenses. Solutions can become contaminated during use. Do not let the bottle tip touch any surface including your contact lenses.

    Normal wearing schedules:

You should not wear lenses during the first 2 days, but frequently practice insertion and removal until proficient.

It is essential to build up tolerance gradually

You should wear lenses 2 hours a day for 2 days, increase the wearing time to 3 hours for 2 days and then add one hour every third day until all day tolerance is achieved.

    What are the benefits?

For those who lead an active lifestyle, contacts can provide close to natural vision, with no side effects if worn and fitted correctly. Excellent peripheral vision for sports, for driving, for safety etc.

For those who prefer the way they look without glasses or find glasses to be cumbersome and awkward, contacts can provide ease, convenience and comfort.

For those who have always wanted to change their eye colour.

For those who work or play in an environment in which spectacles are not an option, contacts allow for comfortable wear.

For those who think laser surgery and its risks are frightening and prohibitively expensive, contacts can provide a safe, comfortable and time-tested alternative.

Safety tips for contact lens wearers:

    ·         Visit a reputable eyecare professional for a complete eye examination every 12 months or more frequently if directed by your doctor

    ·         Use only contact lenses if they are medically approved and only if prescribed by a licensed eye care practitioner

    ·         Never swap contact lens with another person

    ·         Do not wear lenses longer than prescribed, nor when sleeping unless otherwise directed

    ·         If eyes become red or irritated, remove the lenses immediately and consult your doctor

    ·         Replace contacts as recommended by your doctor because they wear out over time. Throw away disposable lenses after recommended wearing period
