Phlegm is thick mucus that comes from the body airways, especially from the sinuses. Phlegm coughed up through the mouth is called sputum.
Home Remedies for Phlegm
- Mix half a teaspoon of ginger with half a teaspoon of carnation and half a teaspoon of cinnamon. Add to a cup of hot water, stir and strain; add a tablespoon of honey and drink.
- Saturate slices of oranges in wine overnight. Cook in the morning until the slices are very soft. Eat several times a day.
- Eat pears to help phlegm .
- Cook 100gm of grind ginger root in 1 liter of sweet wine, strain and drink 3 tablespoons daily.
- Mix grind peppers with mashed raisins and eat
